NEW REUNION NEWS MOBILE 2)

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Reunion attendance is available to any Postal Clerk; you do not have to be a member of the Navy Postal Clerks Association. The NPCA is for past and present Navy members of the Postal Clerk Rating (established 1960) and their families. Also pre and post PCs that served as Navy Postal Clerks are welcome as are Marine Corps Postal Clerks, and any officer or civilian employee that served in a postal billet. In addition, any member of the Logistics Specialist (LS) or Retail Specialist (RS) Ratings who are, or have been assigned to postal duties are eligible to join. Any and all family members of a deceased postal clerks are also welcome to join. The association is made up of former, retired and active men and women of the Navy Postal Service who have been serving the fleet since October 1960. There is a myth that the association is a bunch of old Chiefs. Not true, we have PCSN’s to PCCM’s, serving as little as 2 years to over 30 years, regular Navy as well as Reserves.

Email to NPCA Membership,
I hope this email finds you and your family doing well. The NPCA staff are in the planning stage for our next reunion in Mobile AL for April/May 2026. I hope that you can budget for and plan to join with some of your fellow Postal Clerks and attend the Reunion. In April/May the temperature averages 75 degrees, and there is a lot to do and great cuisine in the region. If you have attended a Reunion previously you know our group usually participates in two activities- one paid by the NPCA, and one paid by the member. We also hang out and reminisce with each other in the hospitality suite with coffee and snacks in the morning, and beer/wine/cocktails in the evening (more specific schedule to follow).
This email is twofold- one to propose some dates in the late April/early May timeframe for the reunion, and also to solicit feedback.
1. One request is to provide feedback by reply to me, to provide a preference for the below dates (Sunday thru Thursday)- (please reply and rank dates for preference)

26 – 30 April, or
3-7 May.

(If either dates are fine, please say so. It is very helpful in determining the preferred date).

2. The 2nd request is to please consider and provide your preference of two attractions from the below list (please reply and rank attractions 1, 2, and 3 in order of preference).

Plan your visit at National Naval Aviation Museum FREE admission/FREE parking, great Navy museum (NPCA must pay a Bus cost to transport attendees)
